About Us

Cornerstone is a friendly, culturally-diverse community of Bible-believing Christians.  It started holding services in Erskine Park NSW in February 2000 with assistance from Emmanuel Baptist, Glenwood, and Grace Baptist, Seven Hills.

Service times:  10am and 6pm

In addition to the Sunday services, Cornerstone runs vibrant Sunday school classes, Bible studies, and special functions for young adult’s, men’s and women’s groups.  It also serves the local community by providing Scripture teachers for local schools.

Cornerstone meets at the James Erskine Public School, Peppertree Drive, Erskine Park NSW.  Entrance to the carpark is through the green gate.

Our message

Cornerstone Baptist held its inaugural worship service in Erskine Park on 20 February 2000.  Today, Cornerstone enjoys a reputation for being a friendly church that loves God and believes the Bible. Our leadership

Cornerstone’s leadership structure is patterned after the New Testament.  We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the head of the church.  Accordingly, our congregation depends on His guidance in appointing elders and deacons.  The elders (also called pastors) are responsible under Jesus to feed and lead the church.  The deacons are responsible to serve the congregation so …

Our connections

Cornerstone is affiliated with the Australian Fellowship of Bible-believing Churches (AFBC).  The AFBC is a Commonwealth-recognised denomination that exists for the purpose of networking Bible-believing ministries and providing a forum for fellowship.  The AFBC exercises no control over its member churches.
